Welcome to the website of the Nacogdoches Professional Firefighters Association

(Local 2690). This organization was formed in the mid 70's and is still as strong as it

was in the beginning with 97% of the Fire Personnel as members. These members

are a dedicated group of men that cares for the citizens they serve in Nacogdoches

and Nacogdoches County. Most all of these members were born and raised in this

area and have lived in Nacogdoches all of their lives.

The Nacogdoches Fire Department has 5 stations serving around 35,000 people.

Shifts are 24/48 with 17 online personnel and 1 shift commander.
